I realize that there's only a week left in December, but I wanted to try to set a few goals for myself for the week, especially since life will be a bit lighter than usual. It'll also focus the free time I have available.
The Goals
So, here we go! What do I want to try to accomplish this last week of December?
World of Warcraft
There's a few of the holiday achievements I don't have that I'd like to work towards, however, I also don't have other stuff unlocked/obtained to work towards them (again, I've talked about it before, but if achievements are going to be account bound, they should damn well be actually account bound!!). Such as the reputation with Ogri'la, a Gaudy Sweater, a Crashin' Flyer, the Iron Armada set, etc.
Level Arraign (Horde DK) to 90 towards "Quintessential Quintet"
Level Chestnaught (Alliance Warrior) to 55 towards "Double Agent"
"Crashing' & Thrashin'" achievement
"Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's" achievement
"Let It Snow" achievement
Obtain a Globe Yeti (since I just found out about them, oh, yesterday)
Secret World Legends
Get Ky (Chest? I'm not sure how to refer to her...) to level 5
She's sad that there was so little time to game as of late.
The Goals
I lacked time to game throughout November and December. Real life sort of ends up getting in the way at the end of the year. It's something I'll have to take into account for next year. Or try to remember to take into account. I always remember about it in hindsight!
World of Warcraft
There are a few achievements that I didn't even begin to touch, such as "Well Read" and "Turkey Lurkey". I worked on leveling my Death Knight towards "Quintessential Quintet", though only got her about six or seven levels. Same with leveling my dwarf towards "Double Agent". I did complete "Friend or Fowl?" because it was an easy two minute achievement.
I surprisingly ended up completing "Raiding with Leashes", mainly because I didn't need many pets to finish, and RNG was on my side. I haven't been so lucky with "Raiding with Leashes II", yet. I only grabbed myself a Menagerie Custodian, but I've been getting lots of Wolves and Custodians since, while trying to grab the Imp and Abyssal. No luck on any drops in SSC or TK.
Secret World Legends
I ended up rolling up my dragon for my new Let's Play YouTube videos, and I've been playing a bit of her, trying to build up some back log of videos. I've never played a Dragon before, and have been having some fun. So, I achieved and even surpassed my goal of just rolling her up.
I ended up not touching my otomes at all, but I'm hoping to do a bit of that this coming week as well. I'll be laying out some new goals to just finish out the month of December, and then starting fresh in January with a longer, updated, list.
I used to do a thing where I put together gaming goals every month. And then I fell off the blogging and gaming bandwagon for a good while. These gaming goals help keep me from floundering around in gaming, and focus my limited free time so I just don't sit there and scroll through Facebook.
The Goals
She's totally sure they'll all get done...
Without further ado, here's my gaming goals checklist.
World of Warcraft
"Well Read" achievement
"Friend or Fowl?" achievement
Level a fourth 110 (towards "Quintessential Quintet" achievement)
"Double Agent" achievement
"Raiding with Leashes" achievement (Giant Bone Spider, Stitched Pup, Viscidus Globule)
Did I mention it's #VNNovember for the Community Game-Along challenge? That works out well, considering I want to try to get through the five million dating sims I've going at the same time (I'm currently playing Norn9, Sweet Fuse, Period Cube, Men of Yoshiwara: Ohgiya, Dream Daddy, Pub Encounter, and Seduce Me 2).
Finish Mitarashi's route in Sweet Fuse
Start Urabe's route in Sweet Fuse
Finish Takigawa's Happy and Super Happy routes in Men of Yoshiwara: Ohgiya
Back when I started playing The Secret World again, Chaide and I decided we should do it as a Let's Play, and we roped one of our friends in to play with us. Eventually we roped another friend or two to play with us, and I have this lovely back catalog of Let's Play videos to put together starring all of us.
However, I haven't been able to bring myself to work on them. Mainly, it's due to the fact that Chaide is there in those videos. The other (smaller) reason, is that the back log is just massive. Tons of gigs of video to convert and put together. But even when I feel like putting the videos together, I open it up, listen to a moment of Chaide's voice, and close it down.
I've been healing fairly well through this divorce process. Some days are a cakewalk, and others not so much. I'll get there eventually. But having these videos looming over my head isn't helping that process at all.
I spent most of my New Year's Eve cleaning up the apartment and getting rid of anything that reminded me of him. A literal new beginning, as it were. But I never got rid of the digital reminders. And that's what those videos are.
So I'm going to be getting rid of that massive back log of video content. Just tossing it. The videos I have on YouTube will stay up there. I'll probably make a follow-up video with footage of a new character explaining that series is coming to an end, and you can find a new series called... well, whatever I decide to call it.
As a part of my healing process and moving on with my life, it doesn't behoove me to keep these videos around and to force myself to work on them.
Instead, I'm thinking of staring up a new character (y'all voted for Dragon on Twitter) and, well, either streaming or recording myself going through the missions! I currently have two Templars, and while I love the Templars, and want to finish the story out (which I might do as a LP of just me soloing the later missions and content at some point), I need a change of scenery.
The only complaint I have about this...? What about all my cool costumes and pets on my main?! Tilty, pls!
All those sexy Transylvania outfits! G'bye, Egypt!
Over the weekend, we made our way out of the Scorched Desert and found ourselves headed to Transylvania... finally! It's taken us about a year to get there... granted, we don't play on any sort of regular schedule.
We’re not too far into Transylvania as far as I can tell. I’m not sure if there’s a second Transylvania zone like there was Egypt. Technically. Even if it had a different name.
I like how Transylvania is laid out, so far. Even though we’re moving back and forth from person to person, it feels that a lot more thought was put into the flow of the zone than some of the others we’ve experienced so far. It also feels that it’s much easier to find where we need to go for side quests, too. And to figure out which side quests we’ve already done.
We have one quest left at Zaha, but I think we’re going to leave it until last. Cam and Sheae laughed heartily when I asked if we should pick it up, and then I looked at the title, and went, “Oh! Is that the one that everyone hates and touts as the toughest mission in the game?”. They both answered with very loud and emphatic “YES”es.
I’m excited to be nearing the original end-game in The Secret World. Though we won’t be playing much of it the next month or so, sadly. Cam is out of town this week for work, so we can play next week, but then we can’t play our mains again until June 20th because Cam is away for work, and Chaide will be teaching in Africa. Maybe Sheae and I can get some alt-time in, though. Or I could put aside TSW until we’re all back together. We shall see. Regardless, I’m looking forward to spending more time in Transylvania!
I started these Gaming Goals posts back in June 2015 as a way to try to organize my gaming time around freelance obligations as well as my day-job and general life obligations. You can view the archive of goals and reviews here.
Richard expects me to do well this month.
I meant well in March, and then never made goals because real life got extremely overwhelming. May is kind of in-between overwhelming and lots of free-time at the moment. My weekends are fairly free (minus D&D), but my weeks are really busy. So I'm going to try to take it light on goals--especially because ThaydFest is a thing this month. The Secret World also might slow down some because one of our four-person-team is going to be gone most of May, and then Chaide is going to be gone most of June. But at least that gives me time to catch up on the videos.
The Community Game-Along this month is Metroidvania games. So I had planned at the start of the year to get in some Dust: An Elysian Tale. And I'm still going to try to do so, which might reduce some of my other goals. Too bad every month can't be dating simmonth!

I started this back in June 2015, and have been keeping up with it this past month. I've kept reducing my goals due to real life, and I think I hit a stride heading into December, and have kept it up for the most part. Well, except maybe on the blogging end and the goals posts the past two months!

I ended up completing quite a few goals, though mostly outside of MMOs. Real life was busy again. Actually, it doesn't ever seem to slow down, any. Granted, it should be a tad bit slower this month compared to the past few.
Comparison: February and March
1 hour less of WildStar... so comparable hours
1 hour less of Final Fantasy--again, comparable
1 hour less of The Secret World--I'm sensing a pattern here

No Blade & Soul (down 2 hours)
No Black Desert Online (down 3 hours)
Added 15 hours of Stardew Valley
77 total hours in Feburary
110 total hours in March
Overall up 33 hours in March--I blame this on Stardew Valley and Code: Realize
Comparison: March and April
9 hours less of WildStar
Added 2 hours of Final Fantasy
Added 11 hours of The Secret World
No Men of Yoshiwara (down 8 hours--completed in March)

Overall down 33 hours in April--I know this is due to project deadlines at work and IRL events
Overall Thoughts
Chaide and I finished the base-game story!!!
So I didn't get very much done in WildStar. Partially was just real life, and partially was just I've been working on ThaydFest stuff non-stop. I'll probably adjust my goals there knowing that ThaydFest won't be over until end of May.
We finally got our main classes to level 50 in FFXIV, and we've been working past the 2.0 story very slowly. We're currently about halfway through the "A Realm Awoken" patch. We're currently stuck on the "Rock-solid Protection" quest, (1) because of time and (2) we can't figure out if we need normal or... hard mode? I think it's called hard mode. And needing normal makes no sense since it's a level 45 dungeon. So if you have thoughts, let me know. I almost got my gathering professions up, so I might continue those goals. My play time has decreased there overall, so I'm not sure adding a new class to level would be wise. Maybe I'll think about how much story we can feasibly get through this month and use that as a goal instead.
We're almost into Transylvania in The Secret World, but I just haven't had much time outside of work to work on the videos without also cutting into my gaming time, or time spent with Chaide in general.
My other gaming goals were fairly easy, honestly. I was a terrible person and left Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya minimized during raids and pulled it up whenever I was dead. Honestly, it's what keeps me so jovial during raids, because I hate dying. And Code: Realize was easy, because I play that for an hour every day at work during lunch. Plus, if I carry my Vita with me everywhere, so if I'm waiting in line or something, it's easy enough to pop out and play some. I'm at the point where I'm almost done with Lupin's route, and I'm sad to see the game end! But more thoughts on that another time. I decided that instead of playing Amnesia first, I'm going to be playing the new Men of Yoshiwara that just came out a few weeks ago. I got it day-of because it was on sale, but I was up in the air on which otome to try next, until Sushi told me about how one of the routes is right up my alley (I love the sweet romance/childhood friend routes), so now I have to try it first.
I also picked up Stardew Valley and Atlas Reactor these past two months. Stardew Valley is lots of fun, but it's something that I can only really handle in small doses. I just get bored with it after a few hours, and need to put it down. Plus I stink at the whole relationship building thing, and after a while I start to feel overwhelmed at all the things to do and that I want to do and... yeah.
Atlas Reactor is one that I was lucky enough to get a beta code, and I have lots to write about it, but I've not had much time to get in there and play around with it more to solidify the thoughts and guides I want to write. Overall, I love it because it's more thought- and strategy-based than MOBAs in general. Or at least from my limited MOBA experiences. I've tried HotS and LoL, but neither caught my fancy. I don't like the way it works, and it's super confusing, whereas I caught onto Atlas Reactor really quickly, and it almost feels like a team-based game of chess.
Thank you to the wonderful Ammo for the beautiful ThaydFest banner donation!
The month of May is going to be taken up mainly by ThaydFest, so I don't know that I'll have a lot of goals for May, but June will have countless hours to fill in, because Chaide is going to be teaching in Africa for two and a half weeks straight... so I'll have lots of time to game (and be sad) and put together Let's Plays.
I started these Gaming Goals posts back in June 2015 as a way to try to organize my gaming time around freelance obligations as well as my day-job and general life obligations. You can view the backlog of goals and reviews here.
Going to sass my way through March (and Egypt)!
January had a nice balanced list of stuff, but real-life started hitting me harder than expected in February. Life is going to continue to do that through most of March, but I'm going to see if I can't keep many of the same goals and continue towards them.
The Community Game-Along theme this month is Monster Hunter-likes, but it doesn't really sound like a genre I'd be into. Coupled with most of the month being booked-up with things, I don't think I'll be participating this month.

So it's not hard to see based on both the chart and the goals I obtained that real life pretty much kicked my butt this past month. Work has been super busy, and with a friends' wedding coming up in a few weeks, Chaide and I have both been slogged with obligations related to that (especially since Chaide is in the wedding).
For comparison between January and February...

I wish the Achievement Granted crap didn't show up on top... I wonder if I hide UI if the Level Up will go away?
I had started on the Celestion achievements, and am only a few short, but got distracted by swapping out to burn some rested EXP on the toons, and I took advantage of the Bonus XP Weekend (and a lot of flasks) to get Bauxyte to 50! I even did Crimson Badlands once, and am half-way to her key. I have some gear it's worth tossing non-set runes into for now, and I'd love to start getting her attuned for some variety.
We ended up hitting 49 in Final Fantasy, and I'm hoping we finally hit 50 in March. We shall see, though. My work from home days haven't been conducive to lunches where I plop in front of my personal computer (instead of the work ones) for an hour with Netflix running, food in hand, and farm-time. So again, hoping to carry over a lot of those goals. Especially the gathering ones, as I'll either need to purchase a new retainer (which was a plan at some point anyway, just not quite... now), or really get started on those crafting professions.
We didn't get out of Egypt in TSW, but we're getting close. I think we only have a few missions left in the first town, and then we can go see Saiid. I'm so excited! From what little I've seen of him (so far) I'm super-duper excited to see more of him. His attitude comes across in spades! As for the Let's Play... I did get the third one up, and the fourth one partially completed. I'm anxiously awaiting some down-time to be able to work more on those videos.
I barely got any Blade & Soul time in, so those will probably carry over as well. I'm none-too-thrilled so far with the game, and my friends are starting to fall off as well. So we'll see if I even get to it. I really would like to try to give it the good old "20 hours/20 levels" trial.
I'm super close to finishing Men of Yoshiwara, and am hoping to finish it in March so I can move onto Amnesai: Memories for my PC otome. I never picked up Cat Goes Fishing, though I'm still hoping to one day, because it looks adorkable. I didn't get into Torchlight due to time.
I've been playing a bunch of Code Realize for multiple reasons. One, it's what I do at lunch time. When I tried watching stuff on Prime at work, people would constantly interrupt my lunch break, despite having a sign up saying I was at lunch. With my head buried in my Vita, people leave me alone. Also, with everything else that's going on, it's been a nice way to get in fifteen minutes here before an event, or ten minutes there before bedtime. I've been pursuing Impey as the first guy, mainly because I thought I liked him the least, but he's grown on me a lot. Granted, I like Lupin least of all so far, and don't know how I'll feel when I get to him as the "True Game Ending" (he's locked behind the four other guys).
On Thursday, Chaide and I hopped into The Secret World for some alt shenanigans. We've been playing Castanea and Hellviss together when we can't have the four of the core group together for leveling purposes. Sometimes Cam will join us on a toon, and sometimes Sheae will join us on a toon. Regardless, we were playing our alts on Thursday because Sheae had some prior obligations and was unable to play.
It worked out in our benefit, though. Usually when we're playing, we're recording for the Let's Play videos so I can't listen to Beyond the Veil live very often. Since we weren't recording because we were alt-ing, I was able to listen to the stream, and we headed over to the bank to get in on (what we thought) was going to be one or two Valentine's bags.
Much to our surprise, Beyond the Veil, and the folks of Otterdown just kept opening bags and had a huge bag party right on the steps of the bank. Antida also happened to have a Bunny Leotard she was giving away to the first person to whisper her, and I happened to be the first! Since I got it on Castanea, I made Chaide trade it to me on my main so that I could have it on Vina (Vin4, but I pronounce it Vina, so there). Chaide also ended up getting a red and white Elvis outfit on Hellviss, and he is super pumped.
But, isn't this outfit sexy as all get out? I'm super excited to have this. So thank you so very much, Antida! Like, so excited that I figured out how to use Fashionista (which I apparently already had downloaded...) so I could save my Egypt outfit to put this one on (and thusly saved it as well).
Jizzle Physics
First: no, that's not a typo. Second: I finally caved and downloaded Blade and Soul to try it out. Some of my friends (Fitch and Sheae to be exact) have been pestering me for weeks to download the game and play it. And while I don't particularly have the desire, I did so to humor them. I'm going to give the game a solid 20 hours/20 levels before making a final decision, but so far it's "meh". It did take me close to an hour and a half to create a character alone, so there's that. I won't be counting that in the overall play time, though.
Why did it take me that long to make a character? Well, the art style is not something I'm fond of. Water balloons on my chest, and so much shine that it looks like I'm a barbie doll are not turning me onto the game at all. Add on the legs twice the size of my torso, and proportions that wouldn't allow any woman to stand... I spent that much time trying to make myself look, well, human. Or at least as close to it as I could. Her eyes are still a bit big, but they looked weird if I went any smaller.
Like I said, I'm going to give it the 20 hours/20 levels routine, but man that'll be a miracle if I don't kill myself before then thanks to the screenshot voice over...

Overall not bad! I completed all my WildStar goals, granted, they weren't overly difficult, per se. I mean, grinding out the dailies for the plat and the elder gems was a bit cringe worthy. So I think I've just accepted that I will be poor in that game because there are better things to do with my time than grind out plat.
I surprisingly didn't get much time in with Final Fantasy. A large portion of that is due to the fact that Chaide is more into The Secret World at the moment, and in a way I am, too. We're still chugging away at level 50 once a week, though, so sometime in February we'll hit it, I'm sure. My goals will definitely be changing based upon my game time, and prior obligations in February/March.
We finally made it out of the Blue Mountains in TSW! HURRAH! I've actually written a lot about The Secret World lately, and have been working my butt off at putting the videos together. I'm hoping to have the next one out soon(tm). The story is absolutely amazing, and we're loving Egypt! So far, it's one of our favorite zones.
Oh my...
On Steam, I've kind of been addicted to Otomes. I finished out the two routes I wanted to, and started on Iroha's route. I'm hoping to work on that more this month, and finally finish out the game. I've spent countless hours in Men of Yoshiwara in both December and January. As for Shadowrun Returns? I'm hoping to have some free time to get it in... soon(tm). I'd also really like to finish up Torchlight. Chaide is interested in trying to get in some Torchlight II together as a Let's Play. He enjoys being a part of those, when I do them. I think because he doesn't have to do the editing... I kid! Partially. I know he just likes spending time with me and sharing my interests, and creating Let's Play videos is one of them.
Anyway, expect a nice new list of goals for February SOON(TM)!
I didn't get the post out in time to let folks purchase it.
If you haven't heard by now, The Secret World is revamping their membership benefits, which went into effect earlier today. Also of note, the Grand Master pack is on sale for 25% off—for a total of $150 USD. Chaide and I took a look at our finances, finagled some things around, and picked up the Grand Master pack last week, and we have no regrets about our purchase.
Is It Worth It?
Before we decided to shell out $300 total, we took a look at our upcoming finances first, and then looked at what we'd spent on the game since playing it to see if purchasing the pack was worth the cost.
A subscription to the game costs $15 a month, and at the current price, the GM pack is ten months of subscription time. We asked ourselves: will we still be playing this game at the end of 2016? The answer is, more than likely, yes! Even if we aren't, we've spent large amounts of cash on games we're no longer playing—even more than $150 (Neverwinter, and World of Warcraft I'm looking at you!!). And this was when we didn't particularly have much disposable income. However, we love the game, the community, and the story so much that we plan to play it for a long time.
We took a look at when we first subscribed to the game, which happened to be back in November 2015. Since then, we've dropped approximately $100 each on the game, including our four months of subscription. Since many of those purchases were extra Funcom points, we'll definitely still be spending on the game, but now with a 20% discount in the store, our bonus points and purchased points will go a little bit farther.
So yes. Based on the things we looked at, it is worth it to us. Plus the awesome new member benefits, which were really the big sell. Like, seriously. Paying that big chunk of change to not have to pay a sub again, and then still spend $15 a month on coins for getting new things? Yep. Sold.
Last night we actually had a large chunk of time to be able to game, and decided to spend it in The Secret World, since we hadn't really played much of it lately. Being able to play is hit or miss, because we're trying to finagle the busy schedules of at least three, if not four people together on specific toons (so that we don't get too far ahead of each other).
So we decided to finally finish out the Blue Mountains, because Chaide and I were pretty sick of it, which is another reason we were dragging our feet.
Meeting Joseph
We headed over to the Wabanaki Trailer Park to finish out the few quests we had there, minus the dungeon. We're hoping to get that done this coming weekend with a twitter friend who hasn't been able to do any of the dungeons so far, so I'm hoping timing works out for everyone involved.
Anyway, we hadn't picked up any quests from Joseph yet, and can I say that I love that character? I mean, besides the fact that Armin Shimerman did the voice acting (and yes, I totally fangirled over it!). I do have to note that I couldn't tell it was him, aside from a little uplift he does at the end of a few sentences, and even then, it was difficult to notice.
His quests were amazing, though. Well, aside from that one where you have to go chase down the Filth Hound. That one was neat, but it dragged on a little too long for my taste. I also really loved his and his family's involvement in the MSQ (Main Story Quest) that we also finished out.
Facing Beaumont
We worked our way through the MSQ, and got ready to fight Beaumont. And man! Was that hard! It took me a few tries to get it, but I finally made it through! And holy crap, the cut scene stuff afterwards is amazing! I ended up taking the present, mainly because I missed the guy jumping off the side to refuse it. But, supposedly, I'm able to change my choice later on? Regardless, I'll be paying a little more attention to what's going on around me at the end of MSQ from now on!
I do really want to know more about Beaumont and Cassie, though! Who is Cassie?! I've heard that Lilith is a character later on in the game. Is she Lilith? There's so much I want to know, but I'm trying ever so hard not to look up for myself!
I can say, though, that finally getting out of the Blue Mountains and finishing the MSQ up to this point has renewed my interest in the game.
I've been enjoying putting together this gaming goals thing I decided to try out in June. It's helped me focus my time and come up with blog posts. Life has remained at a constant busy-level thanks to work, so my goals are going to remain small for now.
I got this in the bag.
WildStar
Get my last AP (48 total) point!
Rune out my DPS set with class runes (pants)
Get my tanking set figured out on Chestnut
Level up alts to burn up all the rested XP they have
FFXIV
Cactuar
WAR 50
PLD 40
ARC 25
CNJ 20
TSW
Finish the bloody Blue Mountains already
Steam
Finish Tokiwa's endings and date scenario (Men of Yoshiwara)
Finish Kagura's endings and date scenario (Men of Yoshiwara)
Play some more Shadowrun Returns and get the videos over to QueueTimes
I think I'll be able to manage most of what's on the list. It's fairly condensed, so it should be fairly manageable. As usual, though, we'll see what's actually attainable.
I started this back in June 2015, and have been keeping up with it this past month. I've kept reducing my goals due to real life, and I think I hit a stride heading into December, but then the Holidays happened, so we'll see if I met any of my goals at all.
(Magnolia) Chestnut enjoyed fixing bells to bring happiness to the children in XIV!
WildStar Goals

Work towards the last two AP (48) points!Halfway to last one!
Let's take them a game at a time. In WildStar I'm halfway (I think even 3/4 way) to getting my last Ability Point. Finally! It's been such a process for me, especially since I was feeling a little bit of burnout after ThaydFest, but I've gotten back into the swing of things and am greatly enjoying myself again. I got Yardcore up, and did Winterfest, too! Hopefully I can churn out a Winterfest post in a timely manner... so, sometime this week.
Chaide and I are level 47 on our main classes in XIV and finished out the MSQ to the point where we need to be level 49. It's our goal to try to make it through to the Heavensward story end of the month. We also did the Christmas, New Years, and XI crossover event. I'll probably do a joint post about those at some point.
We didn't get in a lot of TSW due to the Holidays, Cam traveling for work, etc. but we also ran into some issues completing the Christmas events, which I discussed briefly in an article over at MMOGames. Overall, considering it was the holidays and the progress we made, I think I made a pretty good dent in my goals!
This gaming goals thing I decided to try out in June has truly proven to be of use to me to organize my game-time and make the most of it, especially in these busy times.
Once again cutting down because it's halfway through December already, and we've vacation and won't be able to MMO.

FFXIV Longterm Goals
I put together this post a while ago, but let's see how I'm doing and where I'm at and what I want to work on next and if I've adjusted anything (which I have)! It is Listmas, after all... I'm only going to cover DOW, as I'm not really focusing on DOM just yet.
This post is a part of the #Listmas initiative. Check it out and participate!
I started this back in June 2015, and have been keeping up with it this past month. I reduced my goals the past few months due to real life, and I think I started getting things to a reasonable goal list. But, we'll see in a moment.
Finding images for these posts is kinda difficult...
Take a mini-cation to rev up for the Winterfest Explosion and server event the guild is planning... (Just a week of no WildStar and play some other games lol)

Thoughts
I'm doing these as a bullet because my brain is so fragmented with life-stress that it's easier than writing coherent paragraphs
I feel like each month I say "I thought X was busy, HAH! This month trumped it!" But yeah, it's true. You should see the draft of my December goals... (or lack thereof)
My summary of WildStar for the past month is pretty much just everything in Episode 77 of the Wildcast Podcast. Avid had me on to talk about Thaydfest 3 since he and Behalter missed it.
Yeah, I didn't get Yardcore 9 up. It's half-edited. Like I said--life. It's my goal to finish it up tonight, hopefully?
I killed it in XIV. We played a lot of it. I leveled a lot of alt classes. I'm excited to get to the 2.0 story. I think my WAR is now 46ish?
We didn't finish TSW Halloween--we had to have Kaidan unlocked to complete the 2015 stuff, so we said "screw it" and worked on more Blue Mountains quests
We did purchase the Ultimate Edition (all three of us) and gifted one of the base-game copies to our friend Sylver
She'll be joining us in the future on our Let's Play videos, but she kind of refuses to use TeamSpeak (if it's being recorded), so I'm trying to figure out how to set up a "just party chat" channel so I don't need to block chat out on the videos and people can see her comments
The third TSW video is in the works. It, like Yardcore, is half done. Real life. You know.
I'll get December's goals up at some point
I also want to participate in the "12 Days of Geekmas" thing but feel so far behind. And I don't want to spam with possible double-posts. And I've kind of nothing to say about a few of the fandoms on the list...

A few Fridays ago, Chaide, Cam, and I decided that we wanted to get a Hell run together in The Secret World... finally! I vaguely recall running it before back when we had originally played, because I remembered a few boss mechanics.
We grabbed Moon (whom you'll meet later in videos as I get them uploaded... which I should do soon!), and one of our FFXIV FC-mates who gladly came along for the ride.
Overall, the dungeon was a lot of fun! We're confused why some of our lore is missing, though, but our FC friend said there are other versions of Hell, so there's possibly some lore hiding in there? But what really got me was that the cut-scene just... ended so abruptly! It was really weird--it felt like there should be more to it!
The Scenery
Despite being a part of Hell and having some really creepy Rakshasa and other demonoids, the scenery is quite gorgeous.

The Characters
We learned more of one of the characters that has a very cool quest associated with it, though the demoness we run into seems a tad tacked on. Maybe I'll need to go back and re-do the quest line to understand why she's there, as we ran Hell so much later than finishing the associated quests. Regardless, it's a pretty cool tie-up aside from the abrupt ending. (#IntPiPoMo 25-32/50)
